Holy Trinity Summer Camp (Camp Angelos), July 7-12

A talk about the Orthodox Church in Nigeria, June 15

Fr. Chrysostom Onyekakeyah, a priest from Nigeria, will be visiting Portland and giving a talk about the Orthodox Church in Nigeria.

When: Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 4:00 pm
Where: Holy Trinity Cathedral in Portland

V. Rev. Archmandrite Fr. Chrysostom Onyekakeyah is a Nigerian clergyman, under the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa. He is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Divinity at St. Vladimir’s Seminary in Crestwood, New York. For the past 18 years, he has been doing mission work in different regions of Nigeria and the Benin Republic. Fr. Chrysostom founded numerous Parish stations, one Mission Nursery/Primary School of St. Christopher’s, Prayer groups, and a vibrant Youth’s Association. He is the author of four Orthodox Books, including the well-known “Orthodoxy in Africa.”

Pan-Orthodox lenten services are back!!! It’s been a wonderful tradition among Orthodox parishes in Portland area to celebrate Presanctified Liturgies and other services during Lent together. This year, these services are as follows:

Wednesday, March 20: Presanctified Liturgy at St. John the Baptist (Greek) at 6:30pm
